Lake Trip

My friend-neighbor, Maggie invited us to her Lake house 2 weeks ago. When I say "us", I mean 9 adults and 13 kids, and it was an awesome group! No fights, no whining, no injuries..... just friends, food, drinks, fun, fishing, boating, tubing, lounging, laughter and sunshine!

My boys wanted to fish in the lake, Carter caught a huge catfish all on his own, his first catch EVER!

I hate pictures of myself but I haven't been on the blog in a while and I like this one because I have my trusty camera in my hand!

Carter decided to be friends with the girls and bonded with this little cutie, hannah! He followed her everywhere and wanted to sleep with her instead of brother at the end of the night

Lots o kids piled in one room!

It was like we were at a full campground site, zipline, swings, see saw and monkey bars!

Andrew wasn't a huge fan of the lake but Carter LOVED it and spent most of his time just swimming around the dock or "noodling" with Alex. For those of you who don't know, that means sticking your hand in holes and hoping it's a catfish mouth..... blaaaaah

Our wonderful hostess with the mostess!

Sunset light, aaaaaah

Carter discovered live worms! He fell in love at first touch!

Nashville Cousins

The boys and I went to Nashville 2 weeks ago and they were able to play with Merrick and McKenzie for a little while. They haven't seen each other in way too long and they just pick right up where they left off!

Art Camp

Every summer, Andrew looks forward to art camp with Mrs. Erin in our neighborhood. It's calm,
quiet, in the air conditioning and fun... right up his alley! He really is great at art and brings home some great things that I can frame! This year, we recruited some buddies from school so it was even better!
